Your privacy is paramount, and by continuing to use my services, you signify your understanding and agreement with my practices. For any queries or clarifications, reach out to me.
Website
kumardeepak.com1. Information you give me
When you send a message through the contact form, I receive your name, email address, mobile number, project type and, if you add them, your notes, company and website.
2. Information collected automatically
Google Analytics measures how visitors use the website, for example which pages are viewed, using cookies. See the Cookie Policy.
The hosting server receives your IP address to deliver each page. The contact form also uses it to allow at most 3 messages every 10 minutes, to stop spam.
3. How I use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss your project.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the website.
- To protect the contact form from spam.
I do not send newsletters or marketing emails, and I do not sell your information.
4. Services involved
- Discord: notifies me privately of new enquiries
- Upstash: counts contact form messages to stop spam, using a scrambled form of your IP address, never the address itself, kept for about 20 minutes
- Google Analytics: visit statistics
- Website hosting server: delivers the pages
5. Links to other websites
The website links to WhatsApp, LinkedIn and GitHub. Their own privacy policies apply once you open them.
6. How long I keep it
Contact form messages are kept while I respond and follow up on your enquiry, and until you ask me to delete them.
7. Security
The website is served over HTTPS, and every form entry is checked before it is sent. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, but I take reasonable care to protect what you share.
8. Your rights
You can ask me to see, correct or delete your information. Email inbox@kumardeepak.com. I reply within 7 working days.
9. Law
This policy follows the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
Client Portal
client.kumardeepak.com1. What the client portal is
client.kumardeepak.com is where I share quotes, invoices and service receipts with my clients. It is not a public website. Documents open only through a personal link I send you.
2. Information I hold about you
- Your name, email address, phone and WhatsApp number, company name, PAN and GSTIN (if given) and billing address.
- Project details, quotes, invoices, payments (amount, date, method, payment reference) and service receipts.
- When you open a document, the date and time it was first viewed.
- WhatsApp message delivery status (sent, delivered, read) for messages I send you.
I do not see or store your card, UPI or bank login details. Online payments are handled by Razorpay.
3. Why I use it
- To prepare and share your quotes, invoices and receipts.
- To confirm it is you before a document opens.
- To take payments and issue receipts.
- To keep the tax and accounting records the law requires.
- To send you updates about your quotes, invoices, payments and receipts by email and WhatsApp.
4. WhatsApp
I only message you on WhatsApp after you share your number with me. When you do, I let you know that I will use it to send you updates about your quotes, invoices, payments and receipts. You can stop these messages at any time by replying STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE.
5. Verifying access
Access links work for a limited time. After that, a one-time code sent to your WhatsApp or email confirms it is you before a document opens.
6. Services that process your information for me
I share your information only with the services I need to run the portal, and only for that purpose:
- Vercel: hosts the portal
- Neon: stores the database
- Amazon Web Services (S3): stores files such as attachments
- Upstash: short-term storage for access codes and scheduled tasks
- Postmark: sends emails
- Meta (WhatsApp): sends WhatsApp messages
- Razorpay: processes online payments
- Sentry: reports technical errors
- Discord: notifies me privately about activity on the portal
I do not sell your information.
7. How long I keep it
- Invoices, receipts and payment records: 6 years from the end of the relevant assessment year, as tax law requires.
- Your contact details: while I work with you, and after that until you ask me to delete them, unless a tax or legal record still needs them.
8. Your rights
You can ask me to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop WhatsApp messages. Email inbox@kumardeepak.com. I reply within 7 working days. I cannot delete records that tax law requires me to keep.
9. Cookies and browser storage
